This week i'll be visiting a school in Manchester to give an art/cartoon lesson. Lets face it, drawing cartoon characters is as important as copying Munch or Picasso at school...probably. On a side note, one of my favourite cartoonist, the man behind Ren & Stimpy has a great blog for anyone interested in cartoons, animation or just stupid pictures... heres a link

Well this is a bit different, but I thought I'd share it with you anyway...

My wife is the manager of a health food shop. Unfortunately, her aunt became seriously ill the other week and was in intensive care. A few days prior to this unfortunate news a new employee started working at the shop, lets say the employee is called 'Janet' to mask her identity.

The next day when my wife returned to work after visiting her aunt at hospital, Janet revealed that she had began a 21 day fast as a sacrifice to her Lord to save my wife's aunt. As nice as this sounds, my wife hardly knows Janet and is slightly concerned that her work will start to suffer. This is a pretty awkward position to be in as it'd be heartless to tell Janet she hasn't passed her trial period as she kept fainting infront of the customers due to malnourishment.
